Description
The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working nicely. The movement has nicely patterned plates, and a Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision. The movement is fully signed and the serial number, 24010228 which dates it back to 19121. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.3mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10 ct gold filled and is the Moon model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and a small “ding” and some mild unevenness to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece. The front cover has a small central lens surrounded by dark blue enamel filled Roman numerals.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The signed dial is in good condition and it has blued steel hands (including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed).
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
