Pocket Watch : Waltham Traveler Half Hunter Pocket Watch, 1911

The watch has a seven jewel Traveler grade stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it carries the serial number 18,164,746 which dates it back to 1911. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a light scratch across it. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, a Birmingham based watch case manufacturer. The case has general light surface marks, and some unevenness to the back. The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition. The signed dial is in lovely condition with original blued steel hands, including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.
