Pre Raphaelite Art Nouveau Silver Belt Buckle c.1906

We have for sale a rather lovely and hard to find art nouveau design silve belt buckle by the excellent silversmith Walker and Hall. This very striking pierced belt buckle is engraved with flowers and decorated wto its centre with a lovely Pre-Raphaelite lady in profile with flowers. The belt buckle carries English hallmarks and the makers marks hidden in the designfoe walker and hall, however the city mark is very illusive, but belt buckles of this form were made by walker and Hall between 1900 and 1910 and hallmarked in Birmingham. The belt buckle is in a good usable and decorative condition but does carry some surface scratches associated with about 120 years. of use.
