Pretty New Hall Porcelain Press Moulded Cup & Saucer c.1825
A late Georgian porcelain teacup & saucer, very finely potted with a delicate press moulded pattern of anthemion's and wreaths and distinctive snake head moulded handle. Three lovely vignettes of flowers growing in the garden, very well painted in bright enamels with light background washes and very carefully drawn grassy tussocks! Wide gilt bands inside the rims and finer bands to the centre of the saucer, outside of cup and simple accents to the handle. Unmarked, c.1825.
