Pretty Turkish Kilim Carpet

This is a colourful and cheery kilim flatweave carpet from Turkey which dates from around the mid 20th century. The carpet has a simple but very pleasing design with bands of crimson and cream with neat rows of stylised flowers throughout enclosed by saw tooth borders.
