Description
A good quality antique mahogany shaped front oak lined chest of drawers standing on cabriole legs. This chest of drawers has a double serpentine shaped front, the top being bookmatch veneered in flame mahogany enclosed by a crossbanded border and moulded edge. The top sits over four shaped and graduated fully oak lined drawers with hand cut dovetails and cockbeaded edges.
Each drawer, being flanked by blind fret canted corners, has two fretted brass swan neck handles and matching central escutcheon plate with lock. Raised on cabriole legs with carved shell to the knee this antique chest of drawers and has a good faded mahogany colour.
Due to its size this chest can also be used in most rooms of the house.
