This superb quality small inlaid mahogany antique Edwardian bureau has the most spectacular interior. It has a beautifully figured cross banded moulded fall front with brass key escutcheon, key and working lock. The interior has a central cupboard, a superb concave bow front selection of five small drawers in satinwood and several pigeon holes / letter racks. It still retains its original/early leather writing insert. Below are four graduating drawers with decorative brass handles, cross banded edges and it stands on shaped bracket feet. This fine antique desk is a warm rich Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
