Delightful small English oak longcase clock only 71.75in or 182.5cm high with astragal glazed trunk door and raised on bracket feet. Retailed by Garrard & Co Ltd 112 Regent Street London. 8 day tubular bell movement by Elliott who were renowned for their World War II RAF fusee wall clocks and for maintaining Big Ben and, in keeping with this, this clock plays musical chimes on each quarter and then strikes the number of hours on the o’clock.
