RAF 1928 Dial Wall Clock

A historical R.A.F dial wall clock. A mahogany/walnut case with a cast brass bezel and bevelled glass. A 12" original dial with GvR emblem and blued steel hands. The original case bottom latch, pendulum and winding key. The 8-day, precision fusee mechanism is marked F.W Elliott Ltd. England. It has the GVR stamp. F.W. Elliott Ltd, based in Croydon, London, played a significant role in the British war effort during World War II, producing specialized clocks for the military, particularly the Royal Air Force along with aircraft parts.
