Description
Stunning snake wood and hallmarked 12 ct rose gold walking stick or cane. Rare to find one with such a high grade of gold and not the usual silver top. The gold was assayed in London as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1925 and makers mark for Albert Aron, fancy goods retailers and makers in Bridewell Place, London. The gold top is in fabulous condition with only very minor signs of age and use. Engraved to the side CTH. The snake wood of the shaft gives it great weight and balance as well as looking wonderful. This wood is indigenous to Australia and very collectable. The ferrule is original and made of brass.
