This rare and exquisite miniature chatelaine perfume bottle dates circa 1880 and originates from France, most probably from the Clichy glass factory. The tapered smooth glass body, with a descending pattern of blue and white stripes, is cased in clear crystal. Mounted with a hinged silver lid bearing French guarantee marks. The inner lid gilt and the neck fitted with a tiny glass stopper. Hallmarks: Boar head in a lozenge (French mark for small articles) on both lid and neck.

Very good. Glass in the inner neck in good condition, no cracks. No holes to the silver lid. Glass in very good condition.
