Rare 19thC British Military "Haystack" Copper 1¼ Gallon Ration Jug. Highly collectable and beautifully polished 19th-century antique British copper "haystack" harvest flagon / ale measure. This piece transcends typical civilian tavern ware, featuring a verified historical pedigree. Military Markings: Stamped explicitly on the upper flared rim with the authentic British Board of Ordnance / War Department "Broad Arrow" (crow's foot) property mark, accompanied by an "I" code, confirming official deployment to military installations or colonial service commands (likely British military operations in India). Unusual Capacity: Holds exactly 10 Imperial Pints (1¼ Gallons).
