A rare, small 8" painted dial fusee dial wall clock. A mahogany case with a cast brass bezel surround. Blued steel hands to the painted dial. An 8-day duration English timepiece fusee mechanism. Circa 1850. May of Bath is recorded in Whites' 'Watch and Clockmakers in the City of Bath' book as working from 1846-1898. This example dates to circa 1850.
