Description
This large (35cms. tall) pitcher has a wonderful glaze that St. Clement is famous for.
The base is marked St. Clement 7516.
'Le Coq' dates from 1920-30.
The St Clement pottery was so desirable that Marie Antoinette purchased 2000 pieces for her Jardins at Versailles.
This is the tallest of the St Clement Rooster pitchers and it appears in the book "Pichets en Barbotine".
In excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
