Rare and beautiful pair of 140 year old Victorian antique heavily carved oak Throne hall chairs, made in England during the reign of Queen Victoria in around 1880 to a beautiful standard. With heavily carved backrests with scrolling foliage, turned supports and finials. Tapestry upholstered cushioned seat pads raised on turned and carved supports united by stretchers. Made to a lovely standard and proportions they’d stand proud in any room.

The oak has wonderful glow and rich patina created over the last 140 years. A wonderful piece of history that’s bursting with English Victorian charm.
Worth buying even just as an investment or store of wealth. As expected with age some minor wear from use.
