Description
A rare item of Edwardian silver, assayed at the sought after Chester Office. The counter pot has a cylindrical body with applied decoration to the base and top rim. The lid is hinged and opens at the centre, to reveal a fully gilded interior and some antique mother-of-pearl gaming counters. Counter pots are always in demand and this lovely example is both practical and collectable.
