Rare French 19 Centure Bell Clock EP Paris

This is an outstanding clock, the casing was made in france by a bell foundrey and the movement was by J.E.Calwell and EP of Paris. The body of the clock is embossed with rinceau bands of scrolled fruiting flowers and vines with quatrefoil profiles, containing half length figures. These are Christion saints and are accompanied with Latin inscriptions. At the centure of the clocks bodyis the circular dial with dial with black Roman numerals,within white enamel cartouches. chimes on the half hour and hour.
