Rare Green Onyx Architectural Mantel Clock – ca 1900
Decorated to look like a slate clock finished in green onyx
Architectural design case
Ormolu centre and bezel with enamel cartouche Arabic numerals
Original movement – 8 day gong striking
Nice quality clock
Circa 1900
Good Working order & recently serviced by a professional horologist
Measures 27cm high by 33cm wide & 13cm deep
Superb mantel clock with great stature, architectural shape finished in green onyx, very rare and looks wonderful.
The clock dial has a lovely ormolu centre with cartouche enamel Arabic numerals masked in ormolu.
Good condition for age, the onyx has a couple of small nibbles to the edges in places.
