Rare Irish Malacca and solid silver walking stick cane. The silver was assayed in Dublin as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1901 and makers mark for John Smuth of Grafton Street, Dublin. Simple plain silver pommel top top that sits on a stained Malacca shaft. The ferrule is original and made of polished red deer antler. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
It measures 92 cm 36 1/4 inches in length, the pommel is 2.7 cm 1 1/16 inches wide.

It's in excellent condition but with some signs of age and use as you'd expect at this age. Some bumps, scratches and pitting to the silver as shown. The shaft is strong and will support a good weight.
