Rare Late Victorian Chatelaine Silver Pin Cushion

A most unusual silver 'chatelaine' pincushion from the end of the Victorian era. This charming and unusual example is of rectangular form, with a silver panel on each side. Sandwiched in between is the pincushion padding and it is finished with an attaching ring for a fob or chatelaine chain. Each side depicts a dancing figure with masks and animals and is in the Rococo taste. A delightful and rare collector's piece.
