Description
This delightful matchbox case is adorned with a little figure of a pug. He is so full of character with lovely modelling and garnet set eyes. A very unusual piece, it is inscribed 'Ch. Mister Dandy L.K.A June 1910' and I imagine was a commemorative prize at the Ladies Kennel Association Show which took place in Regents Park, London, at that time and was indeed won by a pug breed. A charming and unusual piece for the collector and dog lover.
