Description
On offer is this rare Art Deco (circa 1930) powder compact hinged bangle. The bangle measures approx. 3.5 cm in height at the front and is made of gold tone metal with simulated green jadeite bakelite shoulders. The central hinged door features an applied flower basket adorned with marcasite stones. This door lifts up to reveal a glass mirror with bevelled edge and the powder well beneath is empty.
This art deco vanity bracelet is marked to the back, a little hard to read but I think it is marked Foreign most likely made in Czechoslovakia. The bangle has normal light signs of age and usage.
