The dial has no glass on this pocket watch as there was a brief time where watchmakers believed that a full hunter pocket watch does not need a glass because the full hunter case protected the dial. After the 1850’s watchmakers did put on a glass even on full hunter pocket watches. DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has golden Breguet hands and a winding hole at the two.
