Description
Antique silver plated and snake skin covered glass hip flask. Holds 13 fluid ounces or 5/8 pint so a good size. Made by James Dixon & Sons Ltd, their stamp is on the collar as well as the base of the cup. It dates to around 1910. It comes with a cork lined bayonet cap and removable cup. It's been cleaned and the cork has been replace to ensure it's as hygienic as possible to use. A lovely usable piece. Will be sent in a free gift box and will also include a free stainless steel funnel for filling and cleaning your flask to avoid spillages from spoiling the condition. condition
The condition is excellent and the flask is liquid tight with no leakage. The leather is also excellent with no tears or splits. A few surface marks to the cup and a light dink to the cap form age and use but nothing you wouldn't expect to see on a flask this old. It's been cleaned and the cork has been replace to ensure it's as hygienic as possible to use.
