Description
This is a Rare Stunning 18th Century Oak Wood & Bronze Hunting Dog Handle Chamberstick, this was i believe was crafted c1770 making it an around 250 years old, this is a really a Superb and Beautiful Georgian Oak Wood Chamberstick, the Drip Pan of the Chamberstick has a Round shape to it, with a raised edge all around, the Handle is in the form of the most Beautiful Bronze Head of a Hunting Dog, going down to its Body that is a Shield Shape and it still retains its Original Patina. The Candleholder Stem has the most Beautiful Bulbous Oak Wood with the Candle Holder also being Bronze. This would have been owned by someone very Wealthy in the Georgian Period of 1770, in lovely condition for its age with only light surface marks and scratches, and a little play on the stem but is only mentioned for accuracy, and this would add something special to any collection
