Rare Victorian Walnut, Oak & Yew Collectors Cabinet by Maple & Co

Rare late 19th Century (c.1880) Victorian antique walnut, oak and yew collectors’ cabinet by Maple & Company. The upper section with a moulded cornice above a foliate-carved frieze and a central cupboard with a female mask panelled door enclosing sliding trays, all flanked by mirrored recesses with drawers below. The lower section with twin panel doors with carved lion masks opening to a shelved interior. All on a plinth base with Hobbs and Co. locks and bearing a Maple & Company London enameled trade label.
