Rare Victorian Wooden 'Ventilator' Patented Egg Crate, Dairy Supply Co

This a rare Victorian pine egg crate made by the Dairy Supply Co and sold by Crittall & Winterton ironmongers of Braintree. The box is very rustic and has a lift up lift and latch to the front. The sides, front and lid are all stamped and there is a brass label on the inside of the lid. A lovely rustic piece of kitchenalia, found on a Devon farm.
