Refurbished Industrial Trestle Table Refectory Table with Green Metal Base

This is one of my favourite things that we have found recently. The perfect mix of rustic and industrial, a piece to suit many interior styles, especially if you live in a barn or old farmhouse. The table is a traditional folding metal based trestle table, the kind that has been used in schools and village halls for decades. These tables are so useful and versatile, it can be used for parties, to be brought out of storage when required, or can also serve as a dining or kitchen table, perhaps even for use in a workshop or studio. The table dates to the mid 20th century and has a panelled wooden top which has a lot of character. The top has been sympathetically restored in our workshop, refinished with Osmo-oil for a very hardwearing and durable finish. It has a beautiful colour and has a superb patina of age with many small repairs etc. The base of the table has metal folding legs which have an old original green painted finish which has chipped off and rusted here and there giving an aged industrial look which will appeal to anyone who likes furniture with character.
