Please Contact Shop To Arrange Viewing This Item. This is a rare and attractive early 19th Century Regency antique period burr oak drum table, which rotates 360°. It has four drawers in the frieze and four dummy drawers each with a period lock and original oak knob handles. It has a tooled leather surface and stands on a hexagonal faceted triform base with turned burr oak bun feet and recessed castors, all of which are original to the piece. During the early part of the 19th century, several celebrated furniture designers such as George Bullock and Gillows of Lancaster produced furniture of excellent quality in burr oak veneer, and these items continue to be in great demand. Although not stamped, this piece is of similar quality.
All of the items that we advertise for sale have been as accurately described as possible and are in excellent condition, unless otherwise stated. Please note that we are also able to arrange a full shipping service for our customers. We look forward to being of service.
