Regency Giltwood Convex Mirror - England c.1820

A fine Regency period convex wood carved and gilt mirror, surmounted with a leaf carved pedestal flanked by flaming dragon heads and topped with a stylised dragon between two upright lances, the original convex mirror glass within a moulded giltwood concave frame with gilt ball border, A finely made and attractive Regency convex Mirror featuring the most unusual dragons rather than the more common eagles or dolphins. In original condition retaining the original glass and gilding. A very good piece.
