Description
This attractive antique sofa table has lovely mahogany veneers, over solid wood. The table has a nice design with a drop-leaf at either side, a drawer underneath the top, and a shaped base with a shaped stretcher in between the legs. The drawer retains its lock, but please note that no key is present. The leaves are supported on pull-out wooden arms.

the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1820
condition
Overall this handsome piece is in usuable condition, but does have some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing, knocking and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall faded, badly so to the back. The fading means that the leaves are darker in colour than the top. The leaves are also a little warped. There are some areas of repair to the veneers. There is some movement in the table joints.
