Description
A superb late Regency period rosewood side cabinet, or chiffonier. It is of excellent construction in solid rosewood with attractive rosewood veneers onto a mahogany carcas. The rectangular top is decorated with brass inlaid detailing. There is a single long drawer to the freeze. Beneath are a pair of cupboard doors (lockable, key supplied) which open to reveal a shelved interior. The cupboard doors are decorated with gilded moldings and flanked by beautiful columns in solid rosewood with scrolling corbels.
