Description
We have for sale a rather hard to find Regency provincial Newcastle silver fork by the Newcastle silversmith Reid & Son (Christian Ker Reid & David Reid) dating to 1829. The fork is in a the fiddle pattern and carries an attractive engraved monogram to the handle. It also carries full English hallmarks for Newcastle 1829 along with the makers marks for Reid & Son (Christian Ker Reid & David Reid). This heavy Georgian fork weighs 75.89g according to our scales (approx 2.4 Troy ounces) and is in a very good antique condition other than rubbing to the makers mark.
