Description
Royal Doulton “Matsumai” Imari-pattern dish with brilliant colours, circa 1905. Early 20th-century English earthenware, decorated in the characteristic Japanese-inspired Imari palette of cobalt blue, iron red, green and gilt, with floral decoration and elaborate scrolling borders.
Printed Royal Doulton backstamp and registered design number. In good condition other than 2 small chips to the underside of the rim.
