Rupert Griffiths Set of Six Chairs

A very well made set of six oak chairs by Rupert Griffiths. His idiosyncratic way of making Cotswold School type furniture is self evident in these chairs. Please note; Due to the volume/thickness of oak used these chairs are very heavy. All the joints are pegged in the way Rupert constructed his chairs. All the drop in / drop over seats can be lifted off the chairs. They sit on the frame. Each chair could easily be reupholstered. Its increasingly difficult to fine items by this craftsman.
