Description
Salopian pottery.
This is slightly agate ware.
Agateware was made by combining different colour clays.
It was used in the 18th century.
This is approximately circa 1900.
The outside of the jug is very reminiscent of salt glazed jugs.
Very rare piece.
One for the connoisseur.
Modestly priced.
The handle is in the shape of a dog.
