Unusual silver scent flask and vinaigrette in the form of a hunting horn. With a plain hinged cover at one end, opening to a silver-gilt interior and foliate-scroll pierced grille. Grille engraved with maker's name. A removable screw cap to the flask end, fitted with suspension chains and loop. Hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co., London 1877, also with the diamond registration mark. Hallmarked to various parts including to both covers and base and grille of the vinaigrette.
