Scarce Victorian Silver Combination Sovereign Case and Pocket Watch by Sampson Mordan & Co London 1889 You are bidding on a scarce Victorian silver combination sovereign case with pocket watch, made by Sampson Mordan & Co in London in 1889. The silver oblong case has ribs overall and a side opening to reveal a sovereign holder and open face pocket watch. The case is hallmarked for London 1889 and has the makers initials SM, see pictures. The pocket watch has a white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and outer minute divisions. The dial has blued hands. The keyless wind movement is in working condition; however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The small pocket watch lies in a silver case with a smooth finish.
