Scottish Celtic Ship or Clan Galley Brooch, Vintage Hallmarked

Vintage Scottish Celtic Clan Galley plaid brooch in the Iona style with a Clan Galley in a centre open circle with the outer rim with Celtic Knot theme and bosses at the cardinal points with a Celtic Knot finish, around a inch and threequarters across. To the reverse is hallmark/assay mark for Glasgow 1946 and a makers mark partially obliterated but is Henderson and Horner Bros, of St. Mary Street, Glasgow, also stamped "made in Scotland". The Clan Galley may be intended to be that of McDonald, Lord of the Isles. All is good, a small amount of wear to the raised bosses at the front but that's all.
