Description
Offered for sale is this 1950s vintage sterling silver hand and a half sword with an overlying shield or targe, decorate with Celtic Knots, bosses and triskele's. To the reverse assayed and hallmarked in Chester in 1953 and made by Shipton & Co, with a rollover safety catch. Length is just over 3 inches, wear to some of the decoration, other than that fine.
Suitable for use as a kilt or plaid brooch.
Cleaned but not polished.
