Description
Serpentine fronted figured walnut crossbanded chest of drawers by famous (with Royal Appointment) cabinetmakers Maple & Company. The top in beautifully figured mirror matched quartered walnut with a 4 cm ledge behind and a moulded fore-edge above four graduated drawers with engraved cut brass handles, brass escutcheons and brass locks. The top drawer bearing a Maple & Company label, all over a neat, moulded base on short cabriole legs with shell carved knees and pad feet. In excellent condition, lovely colour and patina.
