Serpentine Fronted, Double-Weight, Vienna Wall Clock

A superb serpentine fronted Vienna wall clock in immaculate, pristine condition throughout. The walnut case is beautifully polished and has a figured walnut backboard and swept top pediment to the top. It is quite unusual to find an example of this serpentine style of clock which makes it stand out from the field. The 7" (18cm) 2 piece enamelled dial has black Roman numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial. It is totally free from any cracks, chips or crazing. The weights and pendulum, likewise, are in immaculate condition with no dents or imperfections. The 8 day movement is of the very highest specification, having a dead-beat escapement and maintaining power. It has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered horologist and carries our usual full parts and labour guarantee. Height includes all finials. An immaculate and exceptional clock.
