Set of 4 Oak Dining Chairs by Frank Pratt of Derbyshire

A fabulous set of 4 oak dining chairs in the 17th century style, made by the craftsman Frank Pratt (1903 to 1981) who specialised in reproducing early carved furniture. He moved his workshop from Derby to Wirksworth in the late 1960s, and these chairs have the Derby label, dating them to earlier period of his career. They will look wonderful with a good oak dining table. - Carved backs, with pendant acorns and faces. - Square stretchers, turned at the front. - Turned front legs. - Flat seats made from a single piece of oak. - Labels under seats "Handmade by Frank Pratt, Derby". - Visible peg joints. - Wide, comfortable seats.
