Set of 5 Antique Minton Fireplace Tiles Geometric Floral Design (102)

Five matching antique ceramic glazed 6 inch square tiles made by Minton of Stoke-on-Trent, around 1900 probably. Commonly used in old cast iron fireplaces (they usually have 5 down each side) or in wash stand splashbacks, though they can be used in lots of decorative situations. These ones have a brown monochrome, transfer printed design, under the glaze, with a simple geometric design using floral elements. Price is for all five. Dimensions: 153mm sq x 11mm
