Set of 5 Antique Wedgewood Fireplace Tiles Brown and White Buttercup Design (200)

Five matching antique ceramic glazed 6 inch square tiles made in Wedgewood's Etruria factory, around 1900 probably. Commonly used in old cast iron fireplaces (they usually have 5 down each side) or in wash stand splashbacks, though they can be used in lots of decorative situations. These ones have a brown monochrome, transfer printed design, under the glaze, with stylised floral squares surrounding a central square of flowers, probably buttercups. Price is for all five.
