We have for sale a rather lovely and hard to find set of six 18th century teaspoons by the well renowned silversmith Hester Bateman. This very attractive set of six bright cut silver teaspoons are in the old English pattern and carry full but in some case very rubbed English Halmarks for London 1786 along with the Hester Bateman makers marks. The spoons are 4.8 inches (12.4cm) long and weigh a total of 66.5g according to our digital scales. The spoons are in a good attractive antique condition but there is some wear to some of the bowls and the hallmarks are very worn and in a couple of cases completely rubbed. However, one spoon has a complete set of marks including the Hester Bateman mark.
