Description
Set of six x 18th Century tole metal plaques of the Fleurs-de- Lys made as wall decorations which came from a chateau in northern France. The plaques are of the French Lilies, traditional Royal symbol on the pre-revolutionary French Flag.
Each plaque measures roughly 10 inches x 10.5 inches. ( 25 x 28 cms) In reasonable original condition with original paint and bits of plaster adhering in places.
From France circa 1700-1780
The plaques can be used as beautiful wall decorations in a modern setting.
