An unusual and quality matching Set of Aesthetic movement brass fire-irons circa 1880’s
Comprising of Poker, tongs and shovel and produced in solid brass not over steel core.
The tongs have a steel spring hinge and the deep shovel pan engraved with two birds and foliage
These have been polished and In very good condition, well cast and detailed with no repairs or damage to the weak point where the shovel meets the shaft.
A Totally useable quality set.
