Description
Fine set of traditional measures made of pewter. These were used for measuring spirits such as Cognac, Calvados and other liquors. The seven cups are engraved Litre, Demi-Litre, Double Décilitre, Décilitre, Demi-Décilitre, Double-Centilitre and Centilitre. The set dates from around 1900 and comes from France.
The largest cup stands 7.5" tall and the smallest 1.5". The monogram Jr is engraved on the underneath of the bases. The set is in good condition apart from a very small dent on one side of the base of the demi-litre cup.
