Description
A charming set of four silver demi-tasse spoons, dating from the 18th Century. These lovely, small examples are in Hanoverian pattern and are bottom marked (hallmarks to the bottom of the shank behind the bowl). They bear only two hallmarks, which is usual for small items of flatware dating from this period.
Their smaller proportions make them suitable for a modern day use, such as espresso.

Excellent, with no dents or breaks. There is light discolouration from the firing process, which is not damage and in the manufacture. Hallmarks are Maker's Mark and Sterling Lion.
